Law was passed which stated that the law allowed the seriously ill Californians, especially the ones suffering from AIDS and cancer patients to use marijuana as a part of their medical treatment with the permission of some doctor. This would help them to get rid of their suffering momentarily. After the passing of the law, the Oregon Voters approved the Death with Dignity Act twice.
